If you don't want your private moment to be publicly viewable, don't be having your private moment in public.

Like I said before, take the kiss cam and all cameras out of the equation. You are the CEO of a corporation with your arms wrapped around the HR Director who is not your wife in a venue with a few other thousand people. It's very likely that in such a public setting someone who knows who you are will see you.

Honestly, who cares, maybe his wife shut him out years ago or is just cold?. He got caught and he has to deal with. I do like the shear stupidness of stepping out to a public place and assuming nothing would happen. Hope he likes owning half his company. And why should cheaters be put in jail ? It's not a crime, pathetic and self serving yes, but not a crime.

So now he blames ColdPlay for de-panting him in public. WOW just WOW.

But then why am I not surprised? He belongs to an arrogant class of people who think they can get away with everything including murder. This is obviously not the first time he was out with her, he just got caught for the first time. Our society worships wealth, we don't worship character. We love people who got rich and powerful no matter how many people they step over and how many people the have defrauded.

If that is the case, just divorce the shrew and go bang single women.

His mistakes:
1. Dating another woman while being married
2. Dating a subordinate.

Her mistake:
None. Maybe it is somewhat immoral to "steal" another woman's man but women do that all the time.

Their mistake:
To go to a public place on a date. Stay indoors.

This is like when you and your wife's friend catches you cheating and you gas light them into being the bad guy if they tell the spouse.

Maybe don't cheat, or don't take your mistress into a public place with cameras that display stuff on a big video board.

That makes sense. I always go to stadiums full of tens of thousands of people to enjoy the privacy they offer.

Seriously, this is the wrong thing to say if you're remorseful or want to have even a snowball's chance in hell of reconciling with your wife.

It's not uncommon for concert tickets to include a disclaimer in the terms and conditions that states you acknowledge you are at a public event and have no expectation of privacy, especially if the band uses cameras to film crowd shots. I hope this dude read the fine print to confirm his ticket didn't have such a clause before adding that part to his statement.

Well, after the divorce the sex with his fling will be less thrilling now that it's no longer illicit.

And he will ultimately find her as annoying and difficult as his soon to be ex.

And there you are. Way to go husband, father, leader.

If his wife would put out more than once a year this wouldn't happen. But she exhausted from dropping the kids at private school, working out, having drinks at the tennis club, and spending the afternoon shopping. (Ducks for the incoming posts)

We are not nearly as focused on the fact that she's the Director of HR.

You know, the person who makes you take annual training on sexual harassment and how relationships between superiors and subordinates are a violation of policy?

She can't keep her job after this. And he shouldn't either.

It's not gossip itself, but the intention behind it that is sinful. Gossip used to slander is what is condemned, not just talking about scandal. If gossip in general was wrong, the inspiration to consider the weight of the gospel, from the stories of the early martyrs who paid dearly to spread it, would have been lost to history. It's also important to learn of the consequences of misdeeds without experiencing them yourself.

Yes, people are supposed to be corrected privately, unless they're unrepentant, but as has been noted earlier, this act was out in public.

Statement from CEO Andy Byron said:

New York, New York - July 17, 2025 - "I want to acknowledge the moment that's been circulating online, and the disappointment it's caused.

What was supposed to be a night of music and joy turned into a deeply personal mistake playing out on a very public stage. I want to sincerely apologize to my wife, my family, and the team at Astronomer. You deserve better from me as a partner, as a father, and as a leader.

This is not who I want to be or how I want to represent the company I helped build. I'm taking time to reflect, to take accountability, and to figure out the next steps, personally
and professionally. I ask for privacy as I navigate that process. I also want to express how troubling it is that what should have been a private moment became public without my consent. I respect artists and entertainers, but I hope we can all think more deeply about the impact of turning someone else's life into a spectacle.fi

As a friend once sang: 'Lights will guide you home, and ignite your bones, and I will try to fix you."

What's funny, is if they had just smoked and kissed no one ever would have known a damn thing. People aren't fast enough to whip their phone out and get the pic, so even if one or two people at the concert thought it was them it's unlikely anything would have come of it.

God bless them and their marriages. Hope they can work it all out and stay together with their respective spouses. A healthy dose of Jesus and marital counseling goes a long way.

Sadly, the amount of cheating within churches is far too high as well.

No one is perfect except for the One who died to take the place of our sins. Churches and churchgoers are no exception.

Nonetheless, a healthy dose of Jesus and marital counseling goes a long way in situations like these.

I am sorry man, but religion (all religions) have failed to bring about world peace or moral behavior. Just look around you and see what happens in the world. So called religious people are caught with their pants down all the time.

I had a person come to me in 2008 to convert me claiming that his book said the world will see peace. I said when, he had no answer. I told him to GTFO, world has never seen peace. Never will.

Yes. People are imperfect. But there is One Who is perfect. Wise men still seek Him.

Well, if you look at it from the other angle, the "One" has not been able to reform man. Then what good is "He"?

If you chopped meat with a blunt knife, should you keep using it?

Jesus was never sent to change the world but to save man from his sins. The Bible is clear that the world and man will always be imperfect. But Jesus can save us and often make us better people. When I was young there was a saying that Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven.
