This is a response to NBC and not your sarcasm about Trump. Maybe it's as simple as 60% or f the US being white and probably a much higher % of the customer base of AE.

Just watch some commercials. It appears almost all men regardless of color prefer a white woman. This young lady is no different.

Are companies not allowed to have attractive white people in ads anymore? Over the last 10 years, ads have been dominated by mostly unattractive non-white people, and when a white person is in an ad, they are almost always married to a non white person. From what I remember, there were plenty of attractive non white people in ads in the 90s and 2000s. If Zendaya was in this ad, literally nobody would care, but have a hot white chick and all of a sudden, it's Nazi propaganda. Also, I'm guessing that 80% of American Eagle's customer base are white people between the ages of 15-25.

So this new ad campaign, I'm assuming it's online only and not on TV? I think that would make sense as the networks wouldn't run the ads, and more people actually see them online. Particularly their teenage target audience.
