Back in the late 70s, my roommate convinced me to go to a Commodores concert with her...in Houston. I think we were two of a few dozen white women at the concert. No one hassled us at all. And neither one of us thought a thing about it at the time.
My older brother who lived in Houston back then about had a heart attack when I told him that a few years after.

Dallas. At the cotton bowl after PV A&M vs Grambling lets out at the end of game. Me and a buddy who is handicap from a motorcycle crash almost got crushed if it weren't for police that just happened by.
I miss the access that big cities provide...entertainment, flights, food/restaurants, stores/shopping...all the things like that.
But I'm happy to live in a state that is 85% one demo and <1% another demographic.

This is what happens when people go from being verbal, calling out trash as trash, etc. to being hushed and doing nothing because they are scared they will be called a racist or something along those lines.
No different than a weed in the yard - you see it and address it by pulling it early, no issue. But if you ignore it thinking it "will just go away" the next thing you know the entire yard is covered with them.
Until people step up and actually do the things that need to be done to address and combat the problem, the problem gets worse. But it's easier to just pretend it doesn't exist or ignore it...until it isn't.

I honestly can't blame them to an extent. Some might live in more rural or suburban areas and they just constantly see videos of black people constantly being violent and degenerate.
