Peaked .94 ft above expected height at one station in Midway Islands.

I believe the forecast for that station on the warning/advisory was .90 ft

This doesn't seem like much ? Maybe nothing has happened yet?

I take that back.

It is rising more. Up 1.1 ft right now over normal water lever predictions

The Midway Islands are in deep deep water. Just like ships go to deep water to have the tsunami not affect them, it'd be similar.

Now the water level is negative. Does that mean it's pulling Back before it hits Big like it did in Thailand?

Update. We have evacuated up to 1500 ft.

Found a Catholic Church between Kona and Honalo and went to Mass. Now we are chilling at the Priest's house. He took us in and is feeding the kids pizza.

God is great! Praying for those still trying to get to higher ground.

The quake lasted 7 minutes, correct? I would expect the Midway gauges to show a lot of variability between waves.

See the Sharp rise and then the Sharp fall. Looks like they're in the Middle of the wave set. Supposedly the first waves arent the largest.

From the current press conference.

3ft at Midway.

Next data point for Hawaii will be French Frigate Shoals.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill
