The problem is they no longer have a place for "closer to center tough guys with military service" anywhere. Just look at what they did to Tulsi Gabbard. And forget tough or military, they don't even have a place for 'close to center' anywhere in their party...not even in Texas.

Crockett vs. Talarico is actually a pretty accurate picture of where their party is at. Both want mostly the same far-left policies. Some take a more race-based, angry, combative, approach. Some take a more guilt-driven, emotional, apologetic approach. But you still arrive at far-left policies that are closer to what you'd find in California or Oregon than Texas.

If all candidates were choir boys and girls, then this would be a valid conversation. But since none meet that definition, then we vote for or against who they run. Sorry that this upsets your view of the world, but the reality is that all candidates have some form of baggage. They all have positions or skeletons in the closet that will upset the hell out of others - whether it be murder those unborn babies or Trump's "grab 'em by the *****" statement.
