The play was still going on. Was it necessary, probably not. But was it unnecessary, **** no. He had to make sure the ball carrier was down on that 3rd down play, and he wasn't yet.

Not being dramatic when we say the season is over. It's copy paste of last year, except the entire season is tough defenses and there's almost zero margin for error for a team that proves time and time again that they can't win with getting 4 turnovers in a game

That's the second botched halftime/end of game time management I've seen from Demeco that was glaring last season and now. As the head coach you have to get that right. Have someone babysit it and tell you what to do once you've shown a capacity for blowing it.

I'm ready to poach someone's OC as HC and to call plays. You can possibly get someone good that way looking to move up, and they won't bail if successful.

A successful OC in the NFL usually isn't looking to make lateral moves. So we're trying (again) to create one out of thin air.
