You can kill them to make them stfu, but you still have to haul them back.

plowed through the available gathering of the Greymane diaspora. Getting the camp up and running well. Threw in some fort clearing and bounties last night. Planning on gear hunting tonight

Go to the area of Three Saints River north of Hernand. Look in the trees for beehives and shoot them down. You have a chance of acquiring a BEEHIVE CLUB. It only has 30 uses, but it WRECKS bosses because it swarms them with bees after a heavy attack. So you can tame and ride a bear and turn it loose in town for some hilarity.

I've not done it but evidently if you ride the bears or wolves into battle they fight along side of you

Beat Staglord and the Sword of Atumbra (wrench wielding Sanctum boss) last night . The boss fights are so much fun.

If any of you are concentrating on abyss gears and getting your specs up would love to hear your build and the armor etc you are using.

Is anyone else playing on K&M feeling like the combat keymapping is tough? I've gotten some more combat skills, quick swap and keen senses and havent fought since I skilled those on a large scale, but Im wondering if its worth it to just use a controller, even though I hate playing with controllers.

Also, they really need to let me toggle on/off for auto-restart on missions. Im burning so many materials having to cancel dispatch missions because there is no way from keeping them from restarting when they are completed, but i had plans for my guys after it was done. They should make it a 1 cycle contract by default with an option to auto-renew.

Im sure this will be fixed in short order.

Yeah, they will keep draining you, but if you cancel a mission, you get those funds back.

I always make sure I have 2 security missions going to make a profit and set up my resource missions on what is needed. Typically like to have farming/ranching and a quarry or timber going at all times.

my armor set-up
I use the Groveton Plate Armor (not sure how I got it, it just showed up in my Add-ons after one of the patch updates)
Helm Refinement level: 4 Defense: 7 abyss gear: damage reduction 1.0
Armor Refinement level: 4 Defense: 17 Abyss gears: +35% turning slash damage, Defense +3 (brings the total to 20) and Stam regen 4%
Gloves Refinement level: 7 Attack: 26 Defense: 11 abyss gears: attack speed 1.0 x2
Boots Refinement level: 7 Attack: 26 Defense: 11 abyss gears: climb sped multiplier 2% and move speed 3.0
Cloak Refinement level: 4 Defense: 4 Fire resist: 3

I like the crows gear on my weapon since I use right click attacks a lot.

I stacked that and the dark wound on my longsword. they do great damage together

Do you get them back though? It appears that they are a sunk cost and cancelling loses you the resources to start.

So the main quest really picks up speed in Chapter 5 and 6. Once you start heading north it just goes hard.

A function with the trading system I figured out this weekend works great. There is a Arboris crafting shop dispatch job that makes packaged silks for the trade wagon. Well you run that for a long time and then you look for when the Goldleaf trading station on the highlands with you is buying silk and you run all of it to them and make massive money for the camp. 1 run yesterday and I made 300K for the camp funds. You can also have your wagon manager retrieve the wagon and repair so you don't have to drive it all the way back.

Is it all relative with kliff leveling up or do the bosses etc get insane?

If you've cleared any of the sanctum bosses I don't think any of the bosses in the main quest I've encountered are harder.

Did y'all see the newest update? The storage of your camp chest will grow with the level of your camp expansion. starts at 240 slots all the way up to 1000 slots. Plus some other things.

When you end up buying it say in a month or so, be sure to savor the environment and commit to learning the fighting controls. It pays off.

I had to watch a youtube to figure out the controls for combat, and yes it makes a difference.

I feel like im constantly having to look up youtube videos to figure out wth to do. The puzzle to get up to the top of Sky whatever thing where you had to jump and hang onto the 4 symbols on the wall took me way too long to figure out on my own (although I do remember thinking "Hmmm, those rods look like handles")

I've been sanctum hunting and it has taken me to every region. It is SHOCKING how different every region feels. And I've just gotten little tastes of each. Wildlife, plants whole environments. Just totally different. But the views and the vistas are still Amazing.
