Have had enough in the Houston area. Over 11 inches in the last 2 weeks. And it was already wet before that.
Dramatic footage captured a tornado looming close to Bismarck, North Dakota, on Friday night as lightning illuminated the sky. https://t.co/JKFMsmjVpg pic.twitter.com/d0KGpOlFaH

Somehow the drought chart is giving my area the finger. I guess that comes with the territory. Hope we can get some rain next week.
Since it June yall can prepare for some sort of tropical activity that will slam into south Texas before July 4th

Barry is the second named storm of the Atlantic Hurricane Season. It's expected to move into Mexico, but will send rain up to Texas.

A sudden change in weather data has required updates to the forecast for the next few days in parts of Texas. To clarify, many people in Texas won't see major forecast changes, but we are increasingly concerned about the potential for localized yet impactful heavy rain in the Concho Valley, Hill Country, and South-Central Texas as Thursday night approaches.
If slow-moving, heavy storms develop, they could produce excessive rainfall over several hours. Localized flash flooding, which could be problematic, might occur. We will closely monitor the data as the situation unfolds over the next day.

Major flooding in Hunt and I'm sure along most of both forks of the Guadalupe. My in-laws just moved to higher ground after water rose inside their house, highest they've ever seen the river (South Fork) in 30+ years. I heard LEO on the other end of the phone call with them say three houses near them have people on the roof and they're hoping the structures hold until they can get to them.

I lived in the Wimberley area during that event. The flooding occurred in Blanco, and then all that water channeled down the Blanco River and swept over the RR12 bridge at Wimberley, reaching over 39 feet.ConstructionAg01 said:
I'm getting first-hand reports and pictures and it's like the Blanco flood of 2015. Just a wall of water on the Guadalupe, from 7 feet to 30 feet in an hour. People in their homes swept away in the early am dark. Neighbors of my in-laws were swept away. Four 20yr olds. Sickening.
