I am seeing little local SAHM businesses making T-shirts for sale with victims names/images and claiming the money made will go to the families, but no known connections to the families
We saw things similar on Texags when MFBarnes started the GoFundMe for someone he didn't know without their knowledge.
I resemble that remark.trouble said:FriscoKid said:TAMUallen said:dermdoc said:Thank you. I am literally without words and for those who know me, that is rare. My goodness, I am an old ornery coot who never cries and I am crying like a baby. This rips your soul out.ColetteS2014 said:
I know it's easy to start blaming people for false information but for people like Dermdoc and I this is very personal and we know y'all are hurting as well so we want to give the information we get and we are optimistic and trend towards the positive. Mary Grace is a sweet kind girl with the cutest personality and she loves to be a big sister. Her mom is the essence of a momma bear and her dad is the best Aggie I know. Please remember to keep her and the rest of twins cabin in your prayers. The noise doesn't mean anything without our girls.
We're here for you Derm. God bless you and prayers sent
I'm not. Umpires are people too. That cranky old man is a mean son of a b*tch. He's also an Astro's fan. He sucks.
Not, really. He's one of the best and he would give his Aggie slippers off of his feet to anyone that needed them. Ed is the best shlt Aggie and Christian man I have ever met. I have no words of comfort to give right now.
Who told you that lie?

My daughter was at Cyoress Lakes (Nightengales Nook). From what she has told me, all there cabins were okay. The water damage in her cabin was from rain, not flooding.
The girls from Guadalupe were brought to Cyoress at some point. They have a generator at the mess hall so they could feed the girls. The Cypress Lakes girls each gave a set of clothes so the Guad girls could have something dry and clean to wear.
The Guad girls (and any girls with injuries) were helicoptered out, and Cypress girls were driven out by Game Wardens. The golf holes at Guad and soccer field at Cypress where used for helicopter landings.
Girls were driven to a church (not sure which one) were they went through triage, then out on a bus and driven to Ingram High where they were checked in, and then to another school to get checked out and leave or stay the night.
This is so so heart breaking. I've been praying non-stop hoping for miracles. I can only pray for peace. God bless these families and those that love them.aviationag said:
The sun is setting on the first day since that morning of the 4th, that Wynne's family and friends know exactly where she is.
After trying to console my grandsons about Wynne being out in the dark, where they were so concerned she would be alone and afraid, after hours of agonizing, many tears and worried sobbing, after 4 young fathers drove to Kerrville and drove around all day taking her picture from site to site to try to find her while consoling a young mother and father, there is certainity.
I do know that her parents were able to see her after they were told. I cannot imagine the horror of the last few days and the agony they are facing going forward, but tonight we will go to bed knowing definitively where she is.
God Bless little Wynne as she sits in Heaven with Jesus.
Prayers continue for all families and the missing.

From what I've been told, Cypress Lake was relatively unaffected by floodwaters. It is where they evacuated the kids from the flats to once the flood waters receded. The only place where it got bad was on the flats. Senior hill was also relatively unaffected by floodwaters as well but they were somewhat trapped up there for some time by the surrounding waters.
Very helpful information. Thank you!380sl said:

Tweety Eastland, needs prayers. After losing her beloved husband Dick trying to save his campers…she will be fighting battles with grief and remorse of feeling the loss of all of those young ladies.
Her father George Albritton attended A&M in the 1940's with his brothers Ford and Frank.
She and Dick had many hardships including the unexpected loss of their son to a heart attack too young. The hardships she had seen, few could preservers through, but she has grit and God and a great group of children, siblings, and extended family.
I hope you will keep her in your prayers…
