Staff thanks for removing the video. I think an unsourced, edited video has no place on this thread. Thank you.

So for those that have been around, or have actually participated in, SAR operations before: what's the window of time that the dogs will be able to smell/find people? Is there a window of a few days? Few weeks? Months?
And I know dog's noses are amazing, but what are their limits here? Seeing that pic of the F250 buried made me wonder how far beneath the water/mud could something be and the dog still hit on it? I know there are variables at play…just trying to wrap my head around the timeline going forward and how many more days we could actually expect to hear that someone might be found.

Saw this comment on FB by a Twin's 2 mom about her daughter who survived: "She was able to make it out of Twins 2 alive. Swimming out her cabin window, floating on a mattress and swimming to a tree down past Bug House. One of the girls with her had a flashlight and helped guide them to the tree. They sat in the tree for 2+ hours waiting to be rescued from the tree."
Someone upthread asked why some girls in the affected cabins were able to survive.

With Katherine Ferruzzo being found, the final unaccounted for person in Bubble Inn is Ellen Getten.
Her family seems to have been silent and her story mostly untold. The Bubble Inn story has really stuck with me so I've been paying attention to their stories. I so hope she is found in rapid fashion.

The body of the final Beaumont victim has been located. I am thankful this dad is no longer having to search.

The families posted gofundmes? Or posted that foundations have been established in their names?

Yes Virginia is still missing. I could be wrong but I believe there is not a go fund me set up for her. If their is it is most likely a scam and not legit

It has over 150k donated to it so I am hoping it IS legit. If you know the family might want to confirm because WOW that is a major scam if so. https://www.gofundme.com/f/honoring-sweet-virginia-hollis
There are several families who have gofundmes set up in the girls names with hundreds of thousands of dollars to them. I really hope they are legit. its a TON of money (I haven't personally donated to any -- but just absolutely would be gutted to see how much money is being funneled not to the families if that is the case)
