For sure, but for teen girls the brand name experience is kind of a thing? so I dont know if a tecovas branded care package/mini-shopping spree would be better than fancy fancy boots?

I asked my daughter, seventeen year old, and she was torn. She likes both ideas.

Girls like boots! Every senior picture I've seen this year has at least one cute dress with boots.

I don't think you'll go wrong regardless of which you go with.

I am thankful the Holy Spirit intercedes for us when we don't have words to pray. There has been a lot of that going on. But one thing I have been praying each night for the families is that the next day will somehow, by the grace of God, be a fraction of a percent better.

The horse with the empty hat on its back may be the saddest most touching piece of a procession I have ever seen in my life. Hopefully that horse somehow understood where his girl went.

This is complete hearsay, but there were some of the accounts from survivors that mentioned a group of campers trying to move to safety and one of the group breaking away to go back for something she left in the cabin. No idea if that was Greta or what cabin it was, but that could be a plausible story how one person out of a cabin didn't survive. There seem to be a lot of survivor stories starting to get published, so I would look for ones from that cabin to see if anybody who survived from it elaborates on what happened.

Is there any word that the two Burgess boys have been found? I see the funeral notice, but nowhere am I finding they have been recovered. I'm praying so hard that all the sweet little ones are recovered so their families can have the peace of knowing they are home.

I believe someone posted on here that she was recovered/found by a group searching on horseback. This means a little more to me now, knowing that her and her family were into horses. It's little things like this that really get me.

To say her family is into horses would be the understatement of the year! Her grandpa is one of the most interesting people I've ever met. He's also a guy you might see with his spurs on somewhere around town. He, himself, is a force of nature.

The picture of him leading her horse broke me too. I am glad to know the family will have him to lean on. He will lead them thru this time.

Yes it was me,
My cousin is the woman leading the group on horseback because her horse is fearless! My cousin was also a Mystic camper, and is close to Virginia's mother!
