Have your wife arrange for your daughter to get you one that matches. Consecutive serial numbers would be awesome. You end up buying 2, but your daughter 'gifts' you one and you gift one to your SiL.

Smart decision. Either of those two Series 70 MKIV I posted will be great guns or ones like them. Another suggestion is to look at Series 70 Gold Cups. Those series 70's quality were akin to those same circa vintage Pythons.
They will only continue to increase in value as examples are added to collector collections and the availability of like new Series 70 becomes more scarce.

In addition to increasing in value (which is key), a gold cup series 70 will always be practical and good looking. In 20 years, the goofy double stack, race guns will be obsolete clown pistols.
