What do you mean not boxes? (clearly I have no idea what I actually bought during the presale...)
Sister in law 2 hours away got selected. My wife and I haven't even received emails. I guess they don't give priority to locals.

The presale was Club and Field Box.
I was rejected, but wife got a "standby" option if there are still tickets available at her time slot

Sorry, as someone who is too poor to sit down there during football games, is there a benefit besides having an actual seatback? I bought the $250 tickets and trying to figure out the $190 value over the $60 third base line seats. (i guess from also guaranteeing that I have a seat)
Guaranteed seating and proximity to the field. You do not want to be too high for the game.

You paid a premium for the guaranteed chair back seat and the ability to ensure you have a seat.

I bought tickets this morning at 11am. Was hoping for sections 114-117 but since I needed 4 tickets I had to go with section 230-234. Faces west but ticket states game starts at 7pm so the 8:05 sunset on May 2 should NOT be much of an issue.

Got 4 in 230-234. We wanted lower, but they weren't available at 11:30.

Wife got access to 300 level... Too high for us...
Luckily, I was in the 2nd group, so I was able to get 5 tickets in Sections 118-123, so 3rd base line to left field. We're excited!

I haven't seen any updates about parking yet. Hopefully 12th Man donors get a presale again.

Wife and I missed out on the Savanah Bananas lottery for the upcoming game at Kyle Field, but a co-worker of hers got tix & she can't use them, so we are getting to go after all with our niece & nephew who are big Bananas fans.
Wife says they normally have a celebrity of some kind of significance in the local area, so my question is: Does anyone have any inside info or educated guesses on who the celebrity might be for the May 2 game at Kyle Field? Are we gonna have to settle for Rusty? Post from a sock if you have to.

KBTX is saying showtime is at 6:30. Everywhere else says the game starts at 7. Is there a disconnect or is there some sort of pre-game activity?

I've been advised to think of going to this like going to a theatre or other production event rather than going to a sporting event. The production just happens to include a loose resemblance to the national pastime.

Parking is going to be brutal with home baseball and softball this weekend.
is all parking prepaid this weekend for all events I wonder? Baseball at 2pm, Savanah at 2pm starting events, track at 2pm, and softball at 4pm. what that many folks in one place not sure what parking is what and where to park.

In an email about the Tennis matches this weekend, this is what it says about parking on Saturday. I imagine it will be the same for baseball and having to show a ticket to park for $5. It does not say a time you have to leave, so maybe can stay there if going to the Bananas game.

We're coming in for the game Saturday and leaving Sunday. Thought we had a place to stay locked up but that fell through so now we're scrambling to find something that won't bankrupt us.
