So it looks like probably at least 10 years if not more to break even on the actual $4gs then to truly get it at that rate.

The value in this is the ability to join RCI and trade your week for more desireable locations like Park City, Vail, Breckenridge, Pagosa Springs and Angel Fire, all places we have traded for and stayed. Run the numbers there, $385 per year, RCI is $85 per year but you are getting a place every other year in a resort area for around $900 for a week. A two bedroom condo in those areas could easily go for $2500/week. That's how you pencil it out, not staying in Conroe. That being said if you live in the Houston area and have a boat and frequent Lake Conroe then the $385 per year is still not bad in that you can get additional days at very low prices, I think around $100 or night or so which again for a 2 bedroom that sleeps 6, you can cook your meals and compares favorably to a hotel.

If your not interested just pass and don't say anything but don't be a smartass or ******* about it.

Additionally for those with boats they have a boat doc with slips you can rent and a public boat ramp near by.

Simple question.....
Any of you guys actually know ANYONE who does NOT regret buying a timeshare ? I know a grand total of ONE ( and they are really weird..they actually go to the SAME " resort" every year for 1-2 weeks) yet I know a ton who have either abandoned the damn things and have taken the credit report hit or have hoodwinked others into buying theirs for pennies on the dollar.
I doubt that there is a single LEGIT analysis out there that validates the " benefits" of these damn things.

First of all, the dumbass who burnt his money on what is now and has been for a long time considered one of the stupidest ways to spend money... for a place on ****ing Lake Conroe of all places... doesn't get to call names. The putt putt course is what sold you wasn't it?

You are implying a straight up trade. I'm not just calling you a ****ing liar... you factually are one if you indeed paid more than $900 for the 2 years the time you went to Vail.

Now that we've gotten those points out of the way, how much more did you pay the every other year vacation when you went to Vail?
