Quick question, how is chrono24.com? Anyone have much experience with them? Seems like some decent deals to be had there.

They are ok if you don't care about getting the best price and want to pay tax. The only decent deals I've gotten from there have been in buying from Japan which is super cheap in some cases.

eBay tends to be slightly better on pricing that C24. I've bought multiple times from both, but before I go that route I give FTAC a shot.

ETA: I agree on the point about buying from Japan. There are deals to be had did you're willing to buy from there.

Maybe I just haven't caught a good angle of his watch but something looks off to me. Looks like a Patek case/bezel with an AP Bracelet. Not sure who makes it, but I don't think it's an AP or Patek.

I like their stuff actually, just can't stand the brand name, even knowing the history and nostalgic factor

I do agree it is a strange name choice - especially given it was a shoe polish brand - but lots of watches have strange name choices.

It is an absolutely mind boggling name choice; although the saying is "you don't know **** from shinola" all most people remember is "****" linked to "shinola", not normally the connection you're looking for in a quasi luxury watch brand.
