The RSC is in the Harwood District, which is getting the most investment in that part of Dallas and is doing really well. It's more uptown than downtown. Cannot imagine they would be impacted by the goings on in Deep Ellum.

Yeah, I would guess someone/group has intercepted more than one shipment to that address knowing or assuming it's a watch and the insurance company has had to pay out claims.

Wasn't it him who tried to buy a Rolex and the dealer said their normal schtick about it not being in stock, have to get on a waitlist, etc. Then when he said something about being bummed because he wanted to wear one playing at Madison square garden that night they magically had one in stock that the buyer didn't want anymore?

Convinced everyone at Cabo titty bar that my buddy was the drummer for Green Day (randomly selected) once. It was awesome. They were all taking pictures with him and giving us all kinds of extras. This was maybe 15-20 years ago - probably wouldn't be as easy today.

They should have made the background of the ad a different color because the watch just blends in to the image imo. Can't really get a feel for it when it exactly matches the background.

How much does a matte ceramic bezel cost? That version is $200 more than the one with a metal bezel - and bracelet. Great-looking watch, though.

Actual cost? Probably $6 or so. I use a lot of yttria stabilized zrO2 in my manufacturing and you can get a 2.3/4" od, 1/4" wall foot long sleeve of the thing for about $30.
