Haha it's all give and take. My daily is a rolex 16610 sub that I wore pretty much daily on a nato since I bought it in 2017. It finally stopped ticking and I put the bracelet back on before I sent it to get serviced and it just got back today. I tried it on with the bracelet and said thanks but can you take it off and just go back to lugs so I can put the nato strap on. Then they showed me some of the Tudor pelagos fxds but they didn't have the gmt in stock but said they can call me when the next one gets in and I would likely be able to buy it. I see it's going over MSRP on jomashop so I was curious if it's just hot now and will likely cool down or if I should go ahead and take it if it does come in.

Looks good, and this watch is obviously the better long term buy, but I already have a hesilite speedy so the gmt is branching out a little.

With all apologies to ftac as I truly planned to buy a specific watch from him for my 40th birthday given that there's no way my wife would drop that kind of money (she doesn't work and feels guilty spending), this came out of a gift box for me. I had been wanting Chrono with a pulsometer scale for some time. This one has that scale, along with the traditional velocity and a telemeter for the next time I'm taking inbound artillery volleys. Question for you fine gentleman….. Fortunate enough to have an explorer 2, old gmt Pepsi and a panda chrono Tudor, but looking to get another watch and I've narrowed it down to a Datejust 41, Oyster perpetual or a milgauss. What is y'all's two cents?

I'd go DJ or OP in that case, you already have some more specialty watches, seems like something nice and simple would be a good add.

You've got a couple black dials and a white dial. I'd do a datejust as well with a different color. Maybe blue, rhodium, or green. Honestly can't go wrong with an OP either. Fun watches but more casual. The DJ would be an added dress up watch to your collection.

I have the OG GMT Pepsi and the Tudor Panda also. My next watch is probably a dress watch. I was thinking an A. Lange & Sohne 1815.

It's what an Invicta wishes it was. Big and bold but not ****ty. Doesn't cross the line into garish and tasteless.

I like the idea of getting a dress watch to offset my Milgauss and Omega Aqua Terra, but it would never get worn. It would go right in the case and never leave.

I think my next watch is going to be a Grand Seiko.

I really like it planning on using it as a dress beater and seeing if the ceramic case is as rough and tumble as it seems. The grey lume is a nice idea and looks cool, just really doesn't function as lume as it's so dim.
