It was only an $800 upgrade [from my $20K first class base ticket].
Rich.
No way I think it was $5k? It's the slow season in the UAE because of the heat.
Plus we had a dude flex a $250k private jet flight here

More impressive than Quo Vadis. He can buy first class. Getting WN A1 and A2 is still somewhat of a crap shoot even if you are paying into it.DoitBest said:

I need a jeweler in the Katy/Houston area to add a link to a new watch and fix a bezel issue on a second one. Any suggestions?

I recently purchased an Omega Professional Moonwatch. It's the first time piece I've purchased and it's how I keep my track times when I'm racing my 1LE.
For a daily watch, I picked up a Longines Military Heritage, which looks great in person.
I am much more a fan of mechanical watches vs automatics.

The new F1 movie is awesome, and IWC features prominently in the film given their tie in with F1 racing.
They were selling the themed watches outside of the theater and at my hotel in Abu Dhabi (where the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is held) so I had to pull the trigger.
It's just a standard 33mm pilot watch with laser engraved rubber strap and cool smoked glass display case with the logo of the fictional race team from the movie on the back.
I really liked the color scheme and it was fairly cheap for a luxury watch, especially with the tax savings at the airport so I pulled the trigger.

That is 43mm not 33mm to be clear. Otherwise you have the arms of a five year old.
