Double watch day! Should be a national holiday where everyone gets off of work. I got the omega bronze gold maroon face (that's what I'm going to call it) at work today along with a special edition that I have had on order for a while and just came in. I'm going to spend more time on the special edition because of the rarity.
The watch is a Montblanc geosphere 1858 zero oxygen mount Vinson. Why did I buy it? I loved the color, I loved the weird pressed titanium/quartz/ glacier looking case, and especially the lume on the side of the case and the dial. The back has a really cool picture of Mount Vinson, and they did all of the artistry with oxidation and not paint. The case atmosphere is zero oxygen which I guess is awesome and makes the components last longer? Really unique, really attractive, I love everything about it.
The omega is also very cool. The maroon and the 9ct bronze-gold hybrid go very well together. The mesh band is amazingly comfortable for a solid* gold band, and it better be. The watch on rubber is $14k less than the watch on the band, which is about the most expensive bracelet I've heard of. I did get the watch for a large discount.

Yes and no, I got the same 42mm seamaster in green stainless steel with gold accents, and SS bracelet, but I flipped it almost immediately to FTAC as it was boring.

I'm just venting here but does anyone have any experience with a warranty claim with Rolex.
I spent over $1000 earlier this year to service and repair my 16610 and it's already acting up and stopping 3 months after getting it back. I know they give a 2 year warranty after a service but if they claim I damaged it I am going to be pissed.

I got my son this watch for his wedding gift. He's been asking about them lately and wanted something he could wear to work that was not crazy valuable (my BIL gave him a used 80's Rolex for graduation and he's self conscious about wearing it to work)

Okay last watch for a while I swear. I stumbled across this after the article was recommended by Google and had to have it. A mechanical altimeter complication? How cool is that? Read the article, this thing is an amazing work of engineering for fairly cheap. I should get it sometime next week

I think you're best off asking the vendor. The tariffs are all over the place changing.
