Lots of great advice here. I knew I could great feedback from the TexAgs family.

I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on a Denali today. Been looking around for a while and kept coming back to the GMC because I like the look and features…and the price is right.

Fumoto with hose? Won't solve the filter issue but would eliminate the plug mess.

I have a 2021 Ram 3500 with 70k miles and it has been great. Love the truck. Only issues have been the worthless emissions crap. I took care of that recently and like the truck even more now.

Depreciation on a Ram is the killer, aside from Cummins variants. I would not put too much stock in that 100k mile warranty, pretty well documented they are a nightmare to get anything covered. Otherwise go with what you like, they are all garbage crapshoots.

Had this issue with a work truck. 2022 Ram Classic with the V6. Oil sludge issue and needed a new engine before 40k miles. We had records of oil changes since ownership, but they said because of a mileage gap between oil changes, Ram refused to honor the warranty. We had done at least 3 oil changes at the Seguin dealership since the gap.

In this video, the guy covers the latest JD Powers reliability rankings, which surprisingly put Ram at the top. The narrator notes that many of the new Rams are having issues with electronic components due to the new wiring system. That seems like something that should get ironed out moving forward.

Owned 3 Rams in the last 14 years and all have been solid trucks. 1 Power Wagon and 2 1500's. I think you'd be hard pressed to beat the combination of the interior options and warranty on the 2026's.

They're owned by Europeans, electrical issues are considered to be a feature. I wouldn't count on them being ironed out based on the automotive history of that entire continent.
