A Class C Misdemeanor is the same level as a speeding ticket (it's more than a parking ticket).

Sometimes, the police will arrest someone for a Class C just because it's the only way to diffuse a situation.

I could go with this. Hold him out of the Samford game and dock him a game check. I know what I said earlier, but taking money away from somebody is a killer.

Another thing that could be done is somewhere in the near future, Laveon needs to attend a press conference with Elko and admit in public that what he did was stupid, out of line and detrimental to the football program. He needs to apologize to everybody on camera. He needs to answer questions from reporters who will ask stuff like "WTF did you do this?" Yes, I think he needs to be embarrassed to a degree.

How many players do you know personally? I bet you are wrong and many/most are living their childhood dream. They get paid which is long overdue and they are free to leave. Nobody ever considers the many players who could probably go anywhere but choose to stay here.

I've never been in trouble in my life. No tickets, never arrested, Nothing.

I drive to CS for a game, got pulled over for no front license plate, got a ticket and the dude talked to me like a was a criminal. Said if I didn't like it I could spend the weekend in jail to cool off. All I asked him was "are you serious" and he lost it. Never mind that it was a new car and I didn't even have plates or a bracket on the front.

Dear Leveon:

I got an illegal dumping ticket because someone found my mail in their front yard. I was really confused when I got the ticket. The judge was pissed during the trial. I'm still not sure why the cop cared so much and really confused how my mail got in their yard 30 miles away from my house. I figured they had better things to do than trace down trash in someone's yard. Luckily the judge agreed.
