Forgive my ignorance, but does YouTubeTV allow you to watch previously played / aired games without a DVR?

This will be my first year without season tickets in Kyle or cable TV, and I want to be sure I can watch all the Aggie games and would prefer not to be tethered to live game times if possible.

One of the things I LOVE about YoutubeTV...I have it set to record every single college football game that comes on any station. No limit to what you record.

FOX One and ESPN streaming both come online August 21. Fox one is available for 17 a month if you purchase the annual plan (199) a year, and ESPN 24 a month if you pay for annual plan. So you can get both for aroun 41 a month if you pay upfront a year. Just canceled my fubo and will be running with this option. No longer will be paying for tuff don't watch.

Any of these services allow you to stream from 2 different locations at the same time?? Let's say if you want to share with a family member?

With YouTubeTV, you can have different profiles (each profile has it's own DVR'ed programs and can have its own channel order). When my kids were nearby (within 30 mins) they could watch from their place on their own profile using the single account that I paid for. IIRC, occasionally they had to login while at home (at my house) but I may be thinking of Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc instead of YouTubeTV

Today it was reported that Fox One and ESPN Unlimited will be offered as a Bundle starting Oct 2nd for $40 vs $50 separately. So I'm going to wait until Aug 28th to get the two individual ones, with a cancel after one Month, which would be a Sunday and then switch to the combined bundle a few days later, unless they have a seemless way to migrate,

Any recommendations for the best service for those of us overseas? We have NordVPN and use to be able to VPN in using Hulu/Espn, but in the last year or 2 most services (including YouTubeTV) now geo locate and can see we're not actually in the US so it blocks access. So curious if any expats or those in military what is your work around?

That might be the one if the Mens basketball team has a tourney game on one of the turner stations.

Have historically used Sling as it's been the cheapest option for ESPN, but considering the ESPN DTC model this year.

What I worry about with using the new ESPN DTC service is that it will kill competition and give it 5 years and the cost will have doubled. It's notably cheaper in the short-term, but will it create a void in the market? Sling may also fold or be acquired with the potential bankruptcy of their parent company.

I can use OTA TV for locals unless ATSC 3.0 messes that up which is also a possibility so ESPN channels are really all I need.

Kicking Cable Costs

Third season with them.

The service I have is $20/month + $5 for each additional TV/Device.
I like them because they invoice you through PayPal.

They have some upgraded services since I joined.

It is the track record of all these services to go with a lower introductory price and then continue to move the price up. I think it will be pushing $40/month in 2 years.

Will look into this. The problem is they don't carry the major networks like Fox and ABC for most locations, although we use a good antenna, but some may not have that option.

Still, if only needing it for Saturdays, it is cheaper to do that instead of a monthly subscription to the ESPN app or cable.

So it looks like when the FOX ESPN bundle becomes available on Oct 2 it will be on the FOX App per the article above. So the Fox app is probably the Venu app that never rolled out.
