Word is the other car was right in front of him and all he had to do was turn his head to see it...

This reminds me of one of my dad's stories from back in the day. He did play college football at a smaller school.
Him and 3 of his buds went to a Jerry Lee Lewis concert with their dates. All in one car. After the concert they were driving back from the city through random small towns. Well of course my dad was focused on talking to his date and friends while he was driving back and not paying attention. Well, he hits this car and takes off. They go a little ways and he had to pull over bc the front finder was against the tire. So, him and one of his buds, jumps out, starts pulling on the finder. Four cop cars pull up fast as they are working on the finder. My dad says, "How the heck did you get here so fast!"
One of the cops says, "You hit the county judge buddy!"
So of course, he was put in jail for a couple of days prior to his coach getting him out.
One of my dad's friends told him he saw the car in the road but didn't say anything bc he thought my dad was playing a joke. Oops!

of course the most disheartening thing in all this is that bystanders ran down our secondary member....

No the charge would've been leaving the scene.
I'm guessing he keyed someone's car, kicked it, took a dump in it, or busted a windshield out or something or all of the above.
After I thought for a moment it wasn't an auto accident.
You're giving him too much credit.
He t-boned an aggie and could have killed her. Totaled her car. Hauled ass and people had to run him down. They called the cops and didn't arrest him.
Good riddance.
🔴ARREST UPDATE: I just received a copy of the arrest report for Dalton Brooks, a football player for Texas A&M University, and it shares more details about his hit-and-run arrest by College Station police.

Dalton Brooks is the second Texas A&M football player to be arrested this summer. If this is true, Mike Elko should suspend Brooks for the first game. Elko needs to instill discipline and responsibility into his players. We can't afford injuries and suspensions to our key players.
I was thinking the same thing. We need to suspend our player because we can't afford our player to get suspended.trueaggie2782 said:Iraq2xVeteran said:

I'm so confused by your reasoning.

How much do suspenders cost? Just wear a belt.Gandalf the Maroon said:I was thinking the same thing. We need to suspend our player because we can't afford our player to get suspended.trueaggie2782 said:Iraq2xVeteran said:

Our football coaches need to build relationships with UPD, CSPD, and Bryan PD so this stuff doesn't see the light of day.
