You are correct that all things change…..but certainly all things that change are not always for the better.

No. As far as players go it's about coming to a school that wins enough to give them a platform to showcase themselves to get to play in the NFL…..and rich enough to pay them lots of NIL. Give a kid enough money and he won't care if he wears poka dot uniforms.
On the other hand if they are coming here to play football, but more importantly to them to get a quality education as their goal, I would suspect they are not going to decide to come to TAM because of what color uniforms they get to wear or what color the end zones are.

If the younger crowd loves it so much then make move to have A&M Tech colors changed from Maroon and White to black and white. Personally, it looks hideous. And while you're at it make a move to change A&M's name to A&M Tech since the younger crowd want to be like Texas Tech.

It's not just back uniforms, which actually makes sense for Tech since one of the their colors actually is black. It's also that we beveled our logo after they beveled their logo. It's not that people think we are actually copying Tech, it's that it feels like we are, and we don't need to copy anyone, especially Tech. The issue is that between alternate uniforms, alternate end zones, the dj, the dance team, etc. many of us just miss old Kyle.

And I know some will say " but the students like it" and "it gets them so pumped up to be loud." But consider this, it's been at least 15 years since we had a game atmosphere controlled by the yell leaders and the band at this point. How do we know that old school Kyle wouldn't be novel to them and wouldn't pump them up? It worked for us, and they've never gotten to experience it. I think they should get the chance sometime.
