You realize a large part of why the runs are working is because of the threat of the pass. If he always runs the ball in that scenario, teams will stop it and the offense grinds to a halt.

There's no way in hell we're complaining about CK right now. He almost called a perfect game

Klein's offense really put up 52 points- absent the refs stealing 7.

This is a terrible take. Offense could do anything it wanted. Terrible call or offense scores 50. And we are questioning play calling? I thought he mixed things up well. Gassed DL cant rush the passer...why it was so easy to pass and Reed was so effective with legs as well. Very little to complain about as far as Klein yearsrday.

Klein calls a good game probably 90% of the time. But every game he has his WTF moments.

He has still been way better than anything we've had n a long time.

The fact that 30 plus people have agreed with OP kinda shows how unhappy we are no matter the outcome

EJ was impressive last night. Completely different player than last year. Good to see him stepping up.

EJ showed more growth in this game than he ever has before.

He was rock star good for us when we needed it most.

Honestly, there have been really long stretches, years maybe, where the Aggies never sniffed 45 points against real competition.

EJ Smith got passed by Morrow in the depth chart and I don't think he saw the field until the second half. He looked good which was nice but he's our 3rd string (4th when Moss is healthy). Daniels is the one who has really been passed. He's a good Ag, but I always thought he was the least talented runner. It's nice to have this depth and it hurts less this year losing Moss than last year. I'm all for EJ making the most of his carries but only after Owen's and Morrow get there's first. Let's not freak out over the OC not calling a play for our 3rd string RB.

He wasn't running like a 3rd stringer, that's the point. If we are gashing their D in the running game, don't trick up the O. Keep crushing their D with what's working.

Jimbo did this at Bama when Achane was killing them the 2nd half. Throws a dumbass pass to the cone from like the 2 yard line and we lose the game.

EJ's amazing second effort to get the 4th and 1 first down may have saved the win.

I feel very certain that this defensive performance was a one-off and will be corrected by the next game.

That's cute, but you do NOT know what plays were called on the resulting pass plays. Were they RPOs, did we have a run play called and Reed checked to a pass based on the D look, we have a 2 way play called based on the alignment and pre-snap motion of the defense…?

Owens 56? yard TD run gets called back for holding.
I'd think his legs might me a little tired, but Klein gives to him again for short gain.

It was a post complaining about a particular issue I have with Klein. If you want to disagree that we absolutely should have continued running the ball, do so and state your reasons.

There are a lot of people here who either are bad at English or bad at football, or both.

I'm proud of our O last night. I'm not happy with what Klein did in the red zone that drive.

So many lightweights here would sing a diffrrent tune if our D gave up 46pts and that FG possibly cost us the game.

THATS the difference- I'm complaining about a particular problem, and not many want to present a reasonable argument opposing it.

There were a few good posts taking an opposing view- and I appreciate those.

That's cute, but you obviously just shot this off the top of your head. We took Smith out, replaced him with a WR , took out a TE and replaced with another WR, and went to an empty backfield. Klein changed our personnel to switch to a 5- split receiver passing attack.

All that obviously before we knew what Ark D would be.

p.s. I will give you this though. T Ohrstrom was WIDE OPEN (right in the line of sight of Reed) and had a sure 1st down and probable TD). Major mistake by Reed throwing a huge degree of difficulty pass to the back corner end zone of a covered receiver,
or else that was the go-to call from the beginning. probably the latter.

If you only pass in obvious passing situations which it seems is what you want, then your offense is very obvious. Hth
