Good news...and hope he can win some big stuff this year (win SEC, get into CFP and make some noise).
Now hope this board is happy with him next year too as possibly we are going to take a large step back (sort of what sippers are going thru this year and why they are struggling). Our OL will be decimated of 'experience' (good experience) and will losing a lot of key players all over the place.
Yes, recruiting well, but doesn't have that recruiting depth of 3-4 yrs or more (like a Bama, UGA, etc.) to reload as easily.
Transfer portal helps (definitely helped in WRs/DL this year and DE last year -- more helpful in skill positions), but does not guarantee anything.
Think OL is the hardest for plug-n-play when we'll need 3-4 OL (or more) to refill with proper experience in a tough conference (just getting 1 OL won't be enough as difficult to put 3-4 Fish/Sophs on OL next year and expect similar results).
Think only 1 underclass OL has played considerably thus far (Bourdan) and Rogers as seen some 'spot time'. We have a big gap next year, but yes, that's next year's problem.
