I dont consider it a badge of honor if a school fires their coach for losing to us.

You dont fire your coach for losing to a program you expect to be competitive or better. You fire a coach for losing to a program you perceive to be worse off than you.

Firing Kelly, also is a signal that LSU does not see us as equals. They see us as we should have a lesser program and Kelly let us get the best of them.

It's true LSU doesn't "see us as equals"; in reality, they now realize we're the superior program, & our upward trajectory is scaring the hell outta LSU's administration & donors.

This weekend's game was MONUMENTAL, for both LSU and A&M; however, LSU is hanging by a thread while Elko has provided a much-needed culture change & vision, & the stark contrast between both teams has left LSU shattered & desperate- especially since it was a "RIVALRY GAME" (their words- not mine, but LSU'd next-day termination definitely rebuts claims to the contrary)!!!

Further, THE reason for CBK's firing was the 'Death Valley Takeover' by Aggies at the game's conclusion, as THAT was the final straw/ defining moment!! In fact, when I attended LSU & having watched almost every game since, NO ONE has EVER taken-over Death Valley in the manner that the Aggies did at the end, which came only after an absolute "wood shed beat down" that has led to the majority of the LSU fans on suicide watch!!

I disagree that merely losing to us on Saturday in any scenario (like 27-24 in a close competitive game) would have gotten Kelly fired on Sunday. Versus just forced to make staff changes.

It was the way that second half played out, getting completely destroyed, the stadium emptied out of LSU fans, constant shots of Kelly yelling at his staff and players….THAT got him fired.

Had that been Alabama at LSU and that same thing happened on Saturday….complete and utter humiliation on national TV of the LSU program in their own stadium…he'd have gotten fired.

Ya'll remember when beating A&M at Tiger Stadium SAVED Les Mile's job for one more year? Aggies have seen this go both ways specifically with LSU.
