Cutting the cord isn't always the answer. I haven't had to deal with this crap with DirecTV. Now they give me ESPN Unlimited for free. They also don't jack with my rates. Also, now, when the weather is bad and signal goes out, they automatically switch to streaming so you aren't interrupted.
Are you relatively new to DirecTV? September of 2024 this same thing happened between DirecTV and Disney, with the blackout running for two weeks.
It was the impetus for me cutting the cord, and moving to YTTV, which now, of course, is in dispute with Disney. Maybe it's me?

Well, I re-read this thread trying to make as intelligent a decision as possible (which is not easy at this age) . As a stop gap I signed up with FUBO on a 5 day free trial period so I could watch todays games. Not crazy about FUBO format. Perhaps YTTV will resolve this week and be worth keeping. If not, I might need to go to HULU + live. Goodness I don't want to provide more power to mouse. He is not the same mouse that raised me in the 60's.

Disgusting...
Mouse is in all so out push to squeeze out their competition

Fubo is the SkyCast version. Ha. So, it's still not really ABC.

Or *GASP*, you can just not watch football!
Oh the Huge Manatee....
A lot of 1st world problem whining going on here. I don't need to watch football, so I don't. I can always watch the highlights later that are always posted online.
I know, I know, I'm in the minority here.

It also looks to be a 1-year deal and not month to month, if I'm not mistaken. So, they are locking you in with that deal, so you don't go back to YTTV.
They are ruthlessly smart.
I'm shocked the Fubo 5-day trial is out there with this going on. Only reason why is because they haven't merged enough yet. Otherwise, you can guarantee that wouldn't be happening.

The answer is someone to break the ESiPN monopoly on college sports. These 10-yr deals are the back breaker of true competition. If Amazon (and others) could regularly bid on that programming it would help level the playing field. As it is, non-Disney carriers must take-it-or-leave-it.
Good thing that SEC hitched their wagon 100% to ESPN. Those idiots in the B1G don't know how much worse off they are.
