I want to watch all the college football playoff, some of which are on TNT and March Madness.

YT has the only streaming UI that I like. I've tried 3 others and hated it.

Fubo has the best interface. But it's so expensive

Doesn't have TNT and TBS which is a problem.

What is even on those channels now that TNT lost the NBA?

March Madness games in a few months, but other than that I've got nuthin...

They have 2 first round playoff games, which you can also watch on HBOMax. College basketball has no value for me.

Dropped YTTV and picked up the Fox/ESPN bundle thru Fox.

So for the immediate issue at hand, will the game at Missouri be televised over houston local ABC (antenna)?

I have ESPN plus or ESPN select through Disney.

But it's asking for tv provider which is YouTubetv.

Is there a way to log in without tv provider?

Edit. Looks like espn select is not live. Thought I had been able to watch anything on there previously…oh well.

This doesn't work for people on YTTV. You have to have a sub through your TV provider to get ABC.

Quote:

You'll still need to sign in with your subscription details to access everything, though.

As much as we want there to be, there are no loopholes here unless you are going the illegal pirated route.
That's not true, at least not in my case. I have YTTV but was able to watch the ABC games last weekend via the ESPN app without signing in.

Paused my YTTV yesterday for the first time after 7 years.
Apparently some of you are getting the option to pause for a year. Longest I was offered was 6 months.
Furthermore, $10 coupon y'all are talking about? Wasn't there for me either.
Boy they really know how to treat their loyal customers.
Pretty sure that's about to come to an end. I'll find a way to make it through football season without YTTV and I'm most likely gonna cancel.

You have to click through about four times when you go to Manage Subscription.

Guessing that was a glitch of some sort then. You lucked out!

No, he was just lucky to be still logged in. They kick you off periodically so you have to log back in. Then if you have to log back in and YTTV is your provider your screwed.

That's definitely NOT what happened...after Gameday ended I clicked on the Vandy game and the "Watch Live" option was there. Any non-ABC game just showed "Log in with Provider". Admittedly, when I switched back to the other televised games and came back to the ESPN app it would sometimes say "Log In", but I would just close and reopen and Watch Live would appear again.

Not sure if it was a glitch or not, but we'll find out Saturday.

Not every YTTV customer is eligible for the $10 off/mo for 6 months. I went through the manage subscription links and got to the page with the $10 off/mo link. Link is dead.

After spending about 30 minutes in a chat, the offer is only for certain "eligible" customers. Dumbass ultimately gave me 1 week free and 1 $20 discount if the dispute "lasts longer than expected".

Posting this to save people time if their $10 off/mo link doesn't work. I'll likely cancel or pause if the dispute isn't worked out by tomorrow night.

We have ESPN/Disney (and pay separately for them) as well as YTTV. However, when I try to view in the ESPN app, it says not available. Must be because we log into those through YTTV?

That seems like the most likely explanation, assuming that ESPN has cut off app access to YTTV subscribers. I use the app via an ESPN Unlimited subscription and have not had any access problems.

For whatever reason(s), we got the $10 offer. We've been a customer for a little over 5 years.
I signed up for the 5 day Fubo free trial today. If this drags on and the Fubo rinse and repeat strategy doesn't work, DIRECTV Stream also offers a 5 day free trial.

Be careful with this. Directv makes it incredibly difficult to know what you're signing up for. Last year when I was trying to figure out a viable option because of how this mess played out previously I tried doing both the fubo and directv stream trials. The fubo one was fine, and I kept it for a month, but I really didn't like the interface or the cost when considering it didn't include all channels that are included on other services. After cancelling it I tried to set up a trial for directv stream, and even though I did the signup page for the streaming service, they automatically put the trial towards a yearly contract plan. I guess they have two different options in that regards, but I couldn't figure out how to only do the standard streaming service, and once I got the email confirming that the trial was for the contract version, I instantly cancelled. When I went back to try to figure out what happened, it became clear that they intentionally set it up to trick people into accidentally signing up for the long term plan, which included some hefty fees in the fine print if you discover it too late and try to cancel after the trail period is up. Shady as hell.

It's weird, I didn't get any link. But after reading posts about it on here, I logged into the account and found the link for it. If not for this thread I wouldn't have even known about it.

I wasn't clear. I got zero notification about it. They aren't advertising this. I, too, only knew about it because of this thread.

I wonder if people simply aren't clicking through far enough. You have to go three or four layers into your account to actually get to it. They have it hidden on purpose, obviously.

The only offer I could find was a $45 reward for referring a friend. Why would anybody want to do that to a friend?

Yep.

Last time this happened, I called ESPN and told them I wanted a refund because they were charging me for a service they weren't providing.

They gave me a refund for that month.
