I have one also, and get all the Broadcast Networks in Austin plus CW and KBVO. I have it paired with an Antop Bigboy UHF/VHF antenna in the second floor room where my router is. Both the antenna and the Tablo 4th Gen have amplifiers which is great for Fox Austin local as it has a weak signal, but comes in great.
For an Indoor Antenna you need a compass app on your phone to set the antenna in the direction of the broadcast tower. One fine point, when I put in my Zip Code, not all of the locals came up, so I looked up the Zip code for the broadcast tower in Austin, used that, and it fixed the issue.(it has an integrated tv guide).
The benefit for me, is I was able to use the FOX ONE/ESPN app instead of Youtube tv and am saving 45 or so per month during the season.

i just setup fubo thru the roku app. it was painless and can use roku to cancel whenever free trial is over.

the small print for fubo said you have to cancel 24 hours before the free trial is over or they will charge you.

I just went with the 5 day direct TV sports and news bundle for $99/mo . I plan on cancelling tomorrow but noticed they already billed my card. Do they credit it back once you call and cancel. I was under the impression they would bill at the end of day 5.

I got the english broadcast in the ESPN app if it helps.

I had to get the Sling day pass too because my cheap antenna crapped out. Pre-game just started...in English.

Got it on Sling but it's on Spanish. I don't see any options for English. Oh well. I'll just turn the sound down.

I rebooted/restarted the Sling app on my Amz. 4k stick and now the game is in English...for now anyway.

I just paid for the ESPN subscription. It's $30/month and working good. If you have YTTV you can complain to them and they will give you 2 weeks free. So this $30month covers that for a month. I'm sure they will figure out a deal by then

The guys are TRASHING ESPN right now. Especially telling them that their app sucks and the algorithm for game placement sucks.

They did make a good point... Two weeks of college ball and tomorrow night is Packers vs Eagles. If they don't have an agreement for tomorrow night it's gonna be a while.

Day pass doesn't include local channels and game was on ABC. But it still worked fine for me by logging into ESPN's app with my $5 Sling day pass credentials. Day pass needed the $1 sports add-on.

Sling day pass worked flawlessly for me in the Round Rock area. Great alternative.

Only issue with OTA is no rewinding or pausing.

May have to do the Sling Day Pass - especially is this goes another week or two.

For Thanksgiving weekend or Championship Weekend, I may have to create a shell email and set up a 7 day trial.

Tried the antenna yesterday and just didn't work for us. Placement is definitely fickle for these indoor antennas. With my setup, it just didn't work. It would require me to stand in the middle of the room holding the antenna up in the air, or running it over to a window with little way to hide the cord or the antenna. Non-wife approval for that. That is just too much PITA when I can just spend $5 on Saturdays to get the game.

But now that I have discovered my ATT Internet/Uverse hack I don't even have to do that if our game is on ESPN. Really interesting I seem to be the only one who has stumbled across this. For games on ABC, then I'll do the Sling Day Pass and log into ESPN app with those creds and watch it there.

We have ATT fiber internet, but YTTV is our live TV provider. I have no ESPN sub, so I've been out of commission like everyone else.

However, I discovered yesterday that when I log into the ESPN app directly it's showing me under the banner of ATT Uverse which is the brand name for ATT's internet service. So, even though YTTV is my live TV provider, ATT internet is backdooring me into the ESPN app. It gives me access to ESPN and ESPN2 but not ESPN3 or ESPN+.

Here is a screen shot of my left hand nav panel in the app where it shows me as a Uverse customer. I guess the ESPN app is reading that I'm on ATT Internet then assumes I have Uverse as my cable internet tv provider and, thus, lets me in. So, I can only assume that because the Uverse brand covers both cable internet tv and stand-alone internet access that ESPN can't tell the difference on the service you are getting and just lets everyone in that has Uverse, by default.

I'll probably stick with the day pass for now. It's an acceptable band-aid until mommy and daddy stop fighting. The dvr is far inferior to yttv tho
