if a texas program isn't successfully getting players in their own backyard from one of the top club programs in the country, they will never be more than a mid program
well said. Yolinsky was one of the better recruits we've landed in the past few years. And every time Coach G cried about injuries (especially goal scorers) we all thought of Yolinsky being out. Now we're just supposed to be act like losing her is okay. We need to ask ourselves why so many of our girls are always hurt?Wannabeanaggie said:
If past is prologue both players will land well and have impact at new programs that maximize their talent. Interestingly, both are Solar players, whose alumni have not faired well at A&M, but have thrived at other programs like TCU, Texas, Alabama, etc. Solar's technical, possession oriented and play through the midfield style of play is the opposite of kickball. Boeckmann, Hayes and Geszik (who barely saw the field) all left for teams that made the tournment, playing key starting roles at each. I expect both of these players to do the same.
I wonder if we will be wearing funeral attire the next two weeks. Man, how much longer will we have to put up with this mediocrity?taylorswift13_ said:

Feel like I am walking into that test with all the answers.Wannabeanaggie said:
Well, this will be interesting. Becerra, Leb and Cornog all transferred to TCU. This Fall's contest should be an interesting test of which university is best at utilizing player talent.
Add UConn to that list of NCAA Tourney teams. They won their first game and lost at Stanford 2-1 in the round of 32.taylorswift13_ said:
Only SFA and TCU made the tourney last season.
So, we have TCU and Baylor as P4 opponents before we give ourselves credit for a very good UConn opponent. Additionally, then we play two mid major top 101 teams on the road in Denver and SFA.taylorswift13_ said:
Also what does it say as a program when we're trying to justify a non conference schedule with 6 mid major teams and only 2 power 4 teams
