Not sure if this factored at all into the post scrimmage decision to have a press conference, but...

1. What a great opportunity to give more girls more exposure. there are only so many games in a season.
2. What a great opportunity to give more girls experience in public speaking (good life experience).

Looking back to last season and the exhibitions - they did post match write-ups, posted scores, and did Coach and player interviews. Doesn't seem to be anything new.

Carolyn Calzada is playing for Notre Dame and they're projected to win it all. I'm surprised with how high he is on TCU

Baylor - 8th - Big 12
Lamar - 5th - Southland
Texas State - 3rd - Sun Belt
UCONN - 3rd - Big East
Denver - 5th - Summit League
Lafayette - 6th - Patriot League
Stephen F Austin - 2nd - Southland
TCU - 1st - Big 12

Based on the non conference schedule they probably are gonna have to win 6 of the first 8 games and then pick up 3 wins against more similar opponents in the SEC to have a shot of making the SEC tournament. Based on the schedule I think you're looking at around 5 maybe 6 wins for the season.

The non conference slate is really weak. But also one that we can't slip up because of how loaded the conference schedule is.

Yeah the first 5 conference matches are all against expected tourney teams. Georgia, Auburn, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Texas. Then we go on the road to OU and that game will be a toss up but hate that's it on the road, but then we go on the road to LSU right after. Then we get an easy home game against Mizzou which we must win then at South Carolina and wrap things up against Kentucky.

So we need to win as many in the non conference as we can because sec is gonna be brutal. We've averaged just over 3 conference wins the past 4 years and never have we been projected to do this poorly in the past 3 decades so who knows how this year would go. I'm projecting around 6 or 7 wins with about 5 coming in non conference

On the bench to start, surprises me! But I think the coach is just experimenting with some lineups cause he has one of his best returners coming off the bench as well, but interesting

the few players I mentioned were bench players for a losing program, but playmakers for ranked teams…

You have mentioned her numerous times all offseason. It's a new season today, time to move on. I did not say anything with all the constant belly aching until today.

These girls that left are Aggies, some with the same Aggie degree we all have. It's not our fault they left a losing program to go win and play meaningful soccer matches for contenders. We've cheered them on since they were in high school and for multiple years as Aggies. G may be petty as he's removing some names from the field house (a story for another day) but we can cheer on Aggies who are with other programs! Emma Yolinsky and Shae O Rourke missed all of last year with injuries so it's nice to see them scoring and playing again

And some of us have been supporting this program for decades and hate to see it all burn down via mass exodus of good players and the coach starting the season by deliberately bad-mouthing the players he recruited. It's a bad look for the program.
