Now that we've won our group, I hate the format that has 3rd place teams advancing. Czechia and Ecuador, both of whom deserve to go home from this tournament, can likely advance by beating group winners who have nothing to play for.

3rd place got us through in 94, so I am not going to knock it. I never thought Turkey would fail to get through in this format but they did.

Yeah, but Ivory Coast isn't losing to Curacao.

Every one of these ties helps the 3 point teams' odds of advancing because it pulls a point out of a competing group.
Scotland right now is somewhere around 60 percent to go through.
