Great trade deadline for Dana and the baseball ops group. You made a statement without letting go of any "prospects". The Astros will be a force to be reckoned with in the postseason once again.

Boras generally prefers his clients to eschew pre-arbitration extensions in favor of free agency.

Trading Kyle Tucker this winter strayed from the Astros' standard operating procedure, but did set the precedent that the Astros will at least explore deals for players they aren't likely to extend in order to supplement a barren farm system. Might Peña be the next domino?

Not gonna lie, I dream a bit on what kind of bounty you can get for Pena this offseason. It's a 1% chance they trade him but he could really net a lot of young guys.

Isn't he from the Northeast? Trade him to Boston for 4 of their best 5 prospects if he has to be traded. Or go west coast and send him to Dodgers for 4 of their best 5 prospects.

Man, I don't think I've ever seen anyone with such severe splits as Jesus Sanchez. He is dang near an elite hitter against RHP and absolutely futile against LHP.

These are his differences between RHP and LHP in the last 4 seasons

in the big picture...Carlos is back in the mix for jersey-in-the-rafters someday with 3 more good years of service

would be a 10-year player for the franchise from the World Series teams
