Crochet - Javier tomorrow.
Would be an enormous win.
Yep. Not sure anyone had Alexander out dueling Fried in Stankee Stadium today. We can step up against good pitching.

Chas, sanchez vs LHP, Cam in his slump, Walker hitting 4th. This is not a winning lineup. Thanks Joe, better luck next year

If I am not mistaken, Javier being activated either means sobebody is being DFA'd or someone on the 10/15 DL is going to have to go on the 60 day.
Is Hummel's time finally done?

Not sure on the roster totals, but aren't you limited on the number of pitchers?

Thought we DFA'd Hernandez or somebody the other day.

Ok, I remember he had some sort of movement.
Piggybacking on this, I wonder if Correa's experience in Minne might give us the slightest better chance of signing Cam long term. Just in that the environment/winning culture is something worth committing to from the player's side. (not that Cam would have to ridiculously cut his value) I do believe Jimbo will eventually break his $175-ish MM hard cap, not sure if it'll be for Cam though.Drunken Overseas Bettor said:
This take is based on absolutely no empirical evidence other than my own observations, but I would be very curious to see if Carlos Correa ends up taking Cam Smith under his wing and helps him become the Astros' next-gen BMOC type of leader.
Altuve has always been the David vs. Goliath leader, Pena I don't see a ton of "rah-rah" from, but Correa, from the minute he was drafted, has always been the Swinging the Big Stick guy. 6 foot 3 shortstop, monster post-season hitter, likes the spotlight on him - which I always though was why he left in the first place, tired of being Robin to Altuve's Batman - and so forth.
Cam is the same type of high draft pick physical specimen who can become that loud guy in the dugout at some point who is also physically intimidating at the plate. Hope that happens.

I am guessing that Gordon goes down (for the 26-man transaction) based on Alexander's performance and Gordon warming up in the pen today during the game.
Valdez, Brown, Javier, Arrighetti, Alexander
Hader, Abreu, Sousa, King, Okert
Neris, Ort, De Los Santos
Hernandez or Van Wey probably get DFAed.
Dubin's return will be the one that forces an interesting bullpen move.

Had it narrowed down to baseball or bowel.
