Maybe I haven't payed close enough attention, but I've never seen an Astros fan on here (or in real) life say anything bad about Yordan. Do those people really exist?
It was horrible at points -- people saying things like "trade him" or "he's trash", etc.
I do really really want to trade him. He's a great hitter, but he's never healthy. It's not like he's somehow not going to go on the injured list again.
ETA: He's also going to start making non-negligible money for his production. He's only making $15.7 million this year (and we're not going to get our money's worth unless he goes absolutely nuclear the rest of the season) and we're on the hook for $27 million a year for the next 3 seasons. It's going to be really tough to be competitive if that much of the payroll is going to a guy who has 200 AB's a year.
