I have taken a wait & see approach with Espada but last night was it for me.

You're locked in a division race and you bring in a guy who hasn't consistently had any command in how long? How do you justify that? What am I missing?

Granted… another night of lifelessness at the plate certainly didn't help.

I think they just need to quit trying to play 'hero' ball.

They all know the team is scuffling so each time one of them comes up to bat with RISP, they are coming to the plate with a mindset that "I am going to be the one to break this" and they get overly aggressive instead of just taken a calm and cool approach.

Team needs to not practice any baseball in warmups. Just do something completely mind numbing like watch The Hangover or something right up until first pitch. Walk out to field and just play.
