Also interesting that as bad as Diaz has been that the catcher position has that high of WRC and xbh.

At this point, changing the lineup is just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. It's the same result no matter what.

I agree -- but Altuve ahead of Yordan may get him better pitches. He has not been doing well as a RBI guy. Maybe he will be better as a table setter.

Yep. You traded for Sanchez for a reason and it wasn't to sit on the bench in favor of dubon

Has Dubon played a corner OF spot over Sanchez vs a RHP?

He's done fairly well in the 3-hole. Since May 19th (~16 times in 1 or 2 but mostly 3), he has 55 RBI (34th), 55 Runs (35th), and a wRC+ of 128 (40th). Maybe Yordan is a better option, but I think you want Pena and Yordan to get to the plate as much as possible.

I think Altuve is just a rollarcoaster of a hitter now. He can do it at 1, 3, or 9.

No. But 131 PAs since mid-July is a significant sample to say he is not hitting well there right now and maybe moving him to another spot for a few games until he regains his stroke would be prudent. On the other hand, we don't have many guys who are hitting much better.

Anyone can play this little game.
From July 15 to Aug 16 he has a 137 wRC+.
From Aug 17 to Sep 7 he has a 45 wRC+.
Is a 87 PA / 20 game sample really significant?
