So Ketch has gone quiet...does that mean it goes down today? Or is the unthinkable happening and we aren't going to fire anybody and just run it all back next season?
There will be changes - the extent of which remains to be seen but there will almost certainly be changes.

what a bizarre season for Jake
on May 3rd vs. the White Sox...Jake hit 2 HR's and posted 7 RBI
yet he finished the year with just 3 HR and 24 RBI in 343 at-bats
he did not homer at Daikin this season...and only drove in 4 runs in 47 home starts
final OPS .727 and OPS+ 103 -- which were large improvements over the past 3 years
defensive runs saved +5 -- which ranked 14th among centerfielders

I'm going to watch 0 playoffs but I think the Brewers have a good chance and it would be good for that org to win a WS

Jake went from looking like a guy who could bat around .250 with 15-20 HRs to a pure contact hitter. He cut down the strikeouts and was on base more, which are good things, but was it worth the loss of power?

DYK: Jose Altuve is one of just 3 players in MLB history with 200+ home runs, 300+ stolen bases, 450+ doubles, and a .300+ batting average. The others are Willie Mays and Derek Jeter.

handing out some flowers across the league...
15 players played 160 or more games this season. Rafael Devers led MLB with 163 games played.
the Mariners had 2 players reach 160 games: J-Rod and Arozarena. Raleigh played in 159
the Mets had 3 players reach 160 games: Alonso, Lindor, and Soto
the Royals had 2 players and the Braves had 2 players. Witt jr. played in 157
Rooker with the A's played in 162
------
maybe it's a culture thing within organizations. Some emphasize and prioritize rest during the season (like the Astros) and others don't

For a guy who is supposed to be at the bottom of the order I think it was a very good change. If he was the 9 hole all year he'd have had a great season

I hope his average stays over .300
Right now he's at .303
