Regardless, the must do:
- Cascade Lakes Highway (Devil's to swim; Hosmer to SUP/best views). Everyone will tell you Todd, but meh.
- Hit the Deschutes. We prefer Sunriver (park a car at Dillon, put in at Besson) over Bend as it's more out in nature. But either are fun. Risk is real though with Dillon Falls; heed the warnings. A group went over this past weekend and three died.
- If you fish, make the trip trip through Sisters and fishing the Metolius is a must. https://www.campshermanstore.com/ is a treasure and worth a visit for the breakfast burritos and fly shop alone. Hell, make a day out of it and hike Whychus Creek Overlook/make sure to go all the way down to the river/waterfalls) + lunch at Suttle Lake Lodge (https://thesuttlelodge.com/).
- Walk downtown, Drake Park and have dinner at Bend Brewing on the lawn (scope their concert nights).
- Tumalo Falls is if you're into waterfalls. I only tag it while on a bike ride. Parking is a nightmare.
