But also happy for her. Hopefully she can go to a team with great guard play and that plays at a slower pace! Guards who can find her in the post more efficiently will help her out a ton

surprised me a lot! Outside of basketball, she was a great representative for this school and for the Mays Business School. She was involved in many student organizations and was a leader for student athlete representation. This one is shocking as she was currently in a masters program

I'm ecstatic for her! Along with Sahara Jones, Jada Malone is the only other Aggie who was signed by Blair that stuck with Joni for this long. She got her Aggie degree and has been an excellent representative, probably one of the most involved student athletes on campus. She's been the epitome of loyal, and I'm glad she's leaving this dumpster fire of a program and I hope she can play for a winning coach and winning program. Not everyone wants to fight for 15th place in the SEC. Portal is only open about a week and a half more and Joni hasn't shown these girls that she's gonna turn this around or build a winning team. Why should these girls trust Joni Taylor in their last season of college eligibility that things will be different when no one wants to come play for her and most girls have transferred out. Would you want your daughter playing here
I have a daughter and yes I would want her playing for Joni. Joni is a kind and caring person. I know that Joni would have my daughter's best interests at heart. Would my daughter have a college career that involves a lot of championships if she is playing for Joni, I guess that is TBD or maybe even no. However there are a lot of elite coaches (and we know the names and the accusations) that have pretty bad reputations from their players, they use them up, mentally abuse them, but hey they win.Quote:

I'll up you one and only do it for $900k. And I want another $1M for NIL. What is your NIL ask?Captn_Ag05 said:
I'm a good person. I'll do it for a million.
I can't and haven't made that case on retaining her. I thought at some point in February that she would not be retained based upon performance.greg.w.h said:
Tell me why we should retain her based on basketball outcomes?

Does that tell us anything about why Jada would leave one last place finishing team for another that finished bottom half?taylorswift13_ said:
Tech finished 4-14 in conference, 12th in the big 12
Don't have to carry 15 and can give scholarship money to all.Wbball95 said:
I believe this year with having the collective go into effect a coach has to carry 15 players? If so definitely dead in the water
The settlement as proposed doesn't allow walk ons. The judge asked to grandfather existing walk ons and the NCAA lawyers did not propose adjusting the roster spot approach or numbers.aggiedrjdub said:
I feel like she can just have walk-ons fill the remaining spots if that's a condition of the collective. Not ideal, but something she can do.
