Any recommendations on fencing companies in the Katy/Richmond/Sugarland area? Current fence is 9 years old and in need of replacing. Additionally, anyone have an average cost/linear foot that they've seen lately?

I don't know if Lone Star Fence goes that far out, but they are the best bang for your buck for wood fencing.

We used Texas Fence and were very happy with them. We also got an estimate from Tim's Fence. I'm sure there are cheaper fence builders but we valued getting it done in a timely manor since we have a dog, a pool and a lot of fence. The cost was $31.50 for 6'6" WRC, 3-rail with a 6" rot board in April 2024. The cost for the front facing sections was $38/lf and included a 2x6 top cap and 1x4 trim.

I originally got an estimate from them in late 2023 (between Thanksgiving and Christmas) which was lower. Apparently, that is a slow period so they apply a better discount. I didn't realize that at the time. Our sales guy was Juan Enriquez (713-899-4432) if you are interested.
