My wife and I are currently looking at some home renovations, one of which is changing the use of our third bedroom to a home office/study with a murphy bed against the back wall. Something similar to this:


I am confident in my cabinetry/carpentry capabilities, but am curious if y'all have any suggestions for programs for layout/material estimating for millwork like pictured. Sketch up?

I tried using a free cabinet drawing program and hated it. Also was pretty confident if I tried to hand that to the cabinet guy to save a couple bucks he'd end up redo'ing it anyway.
