My guess he is just running to steal enough vote to insure a runoff between the top two.

I love Clayton, and he will get my vote. He was certainly a better D10 rep than Marc Whyte. Unfortunately, I am sure the rest of the city will remember him as damaged goods.

Ronaldo Pablos seems like the best choice for conservatives. He has a good chance to win too.
I second the comment on rolando pablos. He's got serious money backing and would be a great choice. We need to take back D9.

I've only been back in San Antonio for 4 1/2 years and I only recognize maybe TWO of the names on the list of mayoral candidates. I'm sure a few of these people are gadfly candidates who will be fortunate to get a couple hundred votes and create confusion among voters.

Twenty-seven people running for mayor, and no clear frontrunners is a reflection on Nirenberg. One would have thought he would have groomed a successor or built a succession plan like good leaders do. I honestly don't know if he supports any of these candidates. It looks like a free-for-all.

Had Rolando Pablos come speak to a men's group I am part of and he comes across very genuine, knowledgeable and passionate about the cities direction. Don't know what realistic shot he has to get to a run off and Perry running will inevitably steer some conservative votes away from him. Hes very pro business and has a ton of connections at the state and national level that most the other 26 people running don't have.
I also learned it only takes $100 to run for Mayor in SA. Real high bar. Almost all other major cities require a petition with thousands of signatures and thousands of dollars in fees.

Pablos and Ortiz-Jones in the runoff. I didn't see the KSAT clip, but my liberal friends are complaining KSAT tried to make her look bad. As much as I like Pablos, I don't see him winning the runoff. This city is too blue. Between him and Perry, I don't think they got even 40% of the vote, and I don't see the rest of the voters jumping to Pablos.

If Ortiz-Jones does win then SA is in for more idiocy than Mayor Ron brought. She will be the most liberal mayor SA has ever had. And that is saying something.
Current mayor's policies have negatively affected SAPD, both financially and morally. And McManus does not buck the mayor's bad LE policies. Obviously McManus' job is more important to him than the future of SA and SAPD.

Last night on YouTube I stumbled across the KENS5 debate that was held between Pablos and Ortiz-Jones. Whoever put this together should have their ears cut off and fed to the animals at the SA Zoo. I tried to watch about 15 minutes, but the sound was so bad I could not tell anything what was going on. A TV station did this? It was an embarrassment and disservice to the people of San Antonio. If the point was to inform voters, it failed miserably.
I did notice Ortiz-Jones, who normally looks kind of pasty, was taking fashion tips from Donald Trump. Brown like us.

The election of Ortiz Jones would do irreparable harm to the city.
Pablos has a shot if the numbers come out to vote in the contested northside council races. The rest of the city will probably stay apathetic at the 10% rate.

I heard her claim she got his endorsement along with one of the rat twins and Emperor Wolff. Low turnout yesterday, only had two older couples voting before me and two people coming in after.Burdizzo said:
