Went by the local shop. He had the eht rye, single barrel, and small batch. Had a couple of Weller antiques but of course, no full proof, which I was looking for.

I picked up a bottle of that today. Really looking forward to trying it, but on call tonight sadly.

Also got a bottle of the Oak Liquor Cabinet barrel pick from Bardstown. I'd never been there, but figured I'd check them out after seeing that several texags barrel picks are run through them.

we run most our picks through them. While I did not get to help in the picking, we had multiple TexAgs team members do the sample and pick for that Bardstown one.

I've had moderate luck the last two, fortunately.

Moving forward I have a feeling those who actively maintain grand reserve is going to shrink dramatically and those that do will greatly benefit.

People who maintain GR will likely get a chance at more frequent wins, but if the cost for a chance at something is $2500, I'd rather just pay secondary for the one or two bottles a year that I can't get otherwise

I was in the same boat as you, and I spoke to someone online who claimed they had fixed it, but I was still not receiving emails. When I was in the store, I had the manager check it for me, and she ended up fixing it by doing something in the store. Haven't had an issue since.

I just got Grand Reserve today for the first time. Curious how it goes this year and next. Only got it since I live 3 minutes away from Cinco and work 5 minutes from Memorial. I think this year will be competitive and next year should weed out some folks.

We're currently driving up to Louisville on an unexpected last minute trip (non bourbon related).

I'm going to try to make time for a tour but have done zero research other than follow this thread. What are the best 2 or 3 tours? And is there any chance for same week reservations?

I know there was some great info on here a few months ago and will search for it tomorrow morning. Thanks in advance!

Within walking distance in downtown, Michter's Fort Nelson, Peerless, Louisville Slugger factory/museum, Bardstown shop, Old Forester, Evan Williams, Pursuit is nearby-short drive, NuLu area, Whiskey Thief (versus the facility out in the hinterlands).
