I just tuned to see if they mentioned it and they did. Don't know if it repeated ad nauseum throughout the broadcast.

It seems like Sankey's insistence that the SEC, due to their dominance, should have more teams in the football playoffs is poorly timed.

They said it much of the game. No #1 team had failed to make the regional final, or be 1 hit in a 9 inning game. (which they weren't because of a couple late hits, nevertheless it was a talking point)

I get modern baseball, but I'll never understand when you need baserunns and the other team is playing a shift and leaving a space open why teams don't bunt runners on.

You need runners. They shift because they have the numbers where you're likely to hit it.
