Louisville pitching really messed up now. They saved their #2 for the next game... But he had to pitch today as well. They're either rolling with a Tuesday pitcher or someone on short rest.

Louisville dominated the 8th inning by scoring 5 runs to defeat Arizona 8-3 for their first CWS win since 2019. Consequently, Arizona became the first CWS team to be eliminated.

True. But someone else's pain doesn't need to be fodder for the masses. The way they kept focusing on Pluta over and over was particularly unnecessary.

Sadness is such a part of that game. I watched a team of Little League all-stars do the same thing last night. 8 year olds. The way I look at it, at least they cared.

Definitely feel bad for the AZ pitcher. Hard way to go down. One of the best pitchers in the game plus an almost 4.0 Aerospace Engineer. Kid is obviously gifted and motivated. But by those credentials he'll most likely ise it as a growth opportunity.

If it was even on. I live in Phoenix and couldn't get a sports bar with about 75 TVs to even put it on. I can't overstate how little interest there is in college sports out west.

This is getting real interesting, real fast.

I think this call stands. Derm would be proud of this ump. Coastal is what he hates. Not only standing their ground, but leaning in. ... This is the 2nd call of this in the CWS vs Coastal so far.
