After some digging, the
renovations are slated to begin during the 2026 fiscal year. The
$80 million has already been set aside; however, only $2,830,000 has been approved for use to date. That part has been approved, and they cannot go back on that.
The document authorizing the renovations stated that there will be two parts. Part 1) Upgrades to player facilities and technology to aid the team. Part 2: Enhancing the Fan Experience through Stadium Renovations Part 2 is slated to be finalized AFTER Part 1 is complete. It appears that Part 1 is scheduled to begin construction in 2026. The money to the players seems to be coming from somewhere else.

- New lighting and a new playing surface
