Heckling is simply spectators helping to develop the visiting team's mental game for the next level of baseball. As a result, hecklers are doing them a favor! By telling them that they suck, you are encouraging them to actually suck less the next time.

Radical idea for when the horns come to town:

We all know Jim Stalinagle is a grade a narcissist…and narcissists thrive off of attention even if it's negative as they see it as validating.

What if we just…didn't say anything? He goes in expecting the worst and gets…nothing? I think that would rattle him more than any heckling.

Fair enough. I do think the normal heckles will just motivate him though. We need to think deeper.

I like the of harping on failures. Maybe we need a couple volunteers to sit right behind the dugout and loudly discuss the play by play of every postseason loss in his career…really drive home any questionable coaching decisions.

He really can't!

He was bothered when people didn't want the dancers or some of his other changes.

Or the way he let these fans get under his skin enough to mention it in the postgame:
