Can we talk about how ridiculously bush league it is for any SEC program except maybe Mizzou, Tennessee, and Kentucky to play on carpet instead of real grass.

Those 3 programs can get something of a pass because it gets legitimately cold enough there that the grass would still be brown & dormant this early in the season.

So, is all the "dirt" fake? I couldn't really tell last night with how bad the camera quality was but today, the mound and catcher's box look rubber but how do they slide? Plus, as my wife pointed out, "nobody's pants are dirty"...

Friday was field day for my kids, which was beautiful in the Austin area, and I spent an hour with them for each of their respective Field Day periods and you just reminded me just now that this is the last time they will be in the same school together.

Sister is rising 2nd grade and boy is rising 6th grader, so he'll be out of high school before she's a freshman.

Glad I could be there for that without remembering that fact. I might have been a little more emotional about it.
